Reaching Out is the First Step

Someone admitting they need help and reaching out is the first step.

Step 1 of Admissions: Get in Touch

As mentioned before, reaching out for help is the first step to recovery! At Granite Mountain, when you call, one of our admissions representatives will be there to assist you through this already intimidating and emotionally-charged process.

During our intake process over-the-phone, we collect various pieces of confidential and necessary information including the following:

  • Medical history: medications, surgeries, health concerns, etc.
  • Mental Health History
  • Substance abuse and history
  • Details about one’s life, including the environment they live in
  • Biological factors: age, gender, sexual orientation
  • Any concerns regarding overall health or mental illness

When you call, first and foremost, know that we will listen and address any concerns you may have. We understand that this is a hard time for you and your family.

The information that we gather on the phone will begin the official admissions process and we will continue to collect necessary details for the in-person or telehealth formal intake assessment when necessary. We want to answer all of your questions before your intake so that you are fully informed about the process.

Step 2 of Admissions: Insurance Verification

In an effort to help minimize any financial concerns about treatment, we’re happy to contact insurance providers directly, verify your coverage, and handle all billing. In our experience, many carriers have some level of assistance for mental health and addiction treatment. Please feel free to fill out our Insurance Verification Form to expedite this process.

Step 3 of Admissions: Intake

Once your insurance information has been verified, you will be scheduled for your in-person or telehealth intake to determine your treatment needs.  Once this process is completed, we will be able to begin your treatment.

If you have any other questions about our admissions process, please don’t hesitate to contact us today!
